Dr Ros Ó Maoldúin MIAI
Ros is our Managing Director and Senior Archaeologist. He has over 15 years of experience in contract archaeology and has project managed the archaeological components of several major infrastructure projects in Ireland and in the UK. He is a full member of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland and a licence eligible archaeological director. His academic interests are focused on, but not limited to, prehistoric Ireland. He recently completed a PhD thesis on 'Exchange in Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age Ireland'. Some of his publications and other work can be found here.
Dr Eve Campbell MIAI
Eve is an historical archaeologist and heritage specialist. In 2005 she graduated with a first class honours degree in history and archaeology from NUIG, where she was awarded the Hynes Prize. In 2012 she completed a PhD investigating the archaeology of the Cromwellian Transplantation to Connacht and Clare as an IRCHSS scholar. She has worked as an archaeologist in the commercial, research and community sectors on projects including the Gaelic Estates Project (2005-2010), LUAS cross-city cellar works (2013), the Irish Fieldschool of Prehistoric Archaeology (2015-16), the Archaeology of 1916 project (with ABH, DCC and UCD; 2016). She co-ordindated the Louth Field Names Project and wrote the book the Field Names of County Louth (2014). She is the director of fieldwork at the Achill Archaeological Field School.
